About the role:
We’re looking for a Level 3 IT Helpdesk Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role goes beyond basic IT support— you’ll be the go-to expert for resolving complex technical challenges and ensuring our clients’ IT systems operate seamlessly. From diagnosing intricate network issues to managing Microsoft 365 environments, this is a role for someone who thrives on solving tough problems and providing outstanding service.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to client queries via phone, email, or tickets, ensuring timely resolutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve advanced technical issues, including operating systems, applications, and network connectivity.
- Manage and configure network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs).
- Administer and maintain server environments, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Collaborate with other engineers to resolve critical incidents and implement solutions.
- Document interactions, resolutions, and best practices in our knowledge base.
- Stay current with industry developments and emerging technologies to enhance service delivery.
- Participate in an on-call rota and occasional emergency overtime.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Expertise in Microsoft 365, Exchange, Entra, and VoIP systems.
- Solid experience with Windows environments, server management, and networking.
- Familiarity with Cyber Essentials standards.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, or CompTIA).
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- A valid driver’s licence.
